Getting prepared for college is a huge deal, especially for the parents. As a twist in our strategy, this year we marketed towards Mom. Afterall, she's been there since the very beginning and has a wealth of knowledge. We came up with a Pinterest specific approach and called it "the Motherboard". It was our way of connecting moms with other moms on Pinterest. We co-created with Pinterest specific content creators to concept and create 20 pins that highlight helpful tips and tricks for moms with kids heading off to college. Each pin drives directly to its own page on Target.com for an easy shopping experience.
